The EU regulation on fluorinated greenhouse gases (i) includes bans, effective from January 1, 2025, on placing certain products on the EU market (ii). Among these are personal care products (e.g., mousse, cream, foam, liquids, or sprays) that contain fluorinated greenhouse gases.
Fluorinated greenhouse gases are primarily listed in Annex I (iii) of the current regulation but can also be found in Annexes II and III.
